Bridgend 3 - 4 Milford Haven

Milford gained another 3 points on the road in a thrilling game at Pencoed Comprehensive School.

The away side started well, creating a number of chances before Rachel Coe put Milford 1-0 up after 15 minutes. However Bridgend responded quickly and showed their quality, scoring 2 goals in quick succession to put them 2-1 up going into the break.

An equaliser at the start of the second half from Sian Davies was the perfect response for Milford which instilled belief in the team that they could push on to get the 3 points. But despite some good attacking pressure from Milford it was Bridgend who took the lead again with a quick counter attack goal.

Milford continued to believe that they could get something from the game and soon after were level again after Kacey Arran found Rachel Coe, who weaved through the Bridgend defence and drilled the ball home.

Then with just 5 minutes remaining, Charlotte Davies found Kacey Arran in space in the Bridgend D. Arran stayed composed and coolly slotted the ball to Sian Davies who smashed the ball high into the net to earn Milford their second consecutive away win and cue some big celebrations from the travelling squad at full time!
